I was born and raised in a small Wisconsin town where I wanted to be a doctor and an inventor. At a young age, I lost several family members to cancer and other illnesses which motivated me to learn about medicine and human health. I knew then that I would dedicate my life to improving the lives of others. I left my small town to pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering at ASU.
Biomedical engineering taught me computer science, electronics, mechanics, chemistry, and biology. Most importantly, it taught me problem solving from a first principles and systems engineering approach. During my schooling, I was given the gift of a son who accelerated my goal of improving lives and the journey of builidng companies and products began.
My approach to business and product strategy is through a customer-first focused lens that magnifies innovation.
I spent the large majority of my career at a Fortune 100 Biotech building AR/VR & AI applications for diagnostic solutions and medical research. My professional contributions have resulted in millions of saved lives and substaintially improved the lives of many others.

One of my core personality traits is curiousity and the pursuit of expanded knowledge. I have found that advising, consulting, and short term projects are fantastic mechanisms for exploring new topics and solutions. As a result, I have completed over a hundred custom consultation and development projects during the last 15 years.
