I am a proud father and live with my son and my brother in Carlsbad, CA where I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, and surfing in my free time. At my core, I am strategic and analytical leader who thrives in challenging and changing environments. With a customer-first focused approach, I excel at identifying business needs and opportunities to create intuitive, valuable, and transformative products. As an experienced project leader, I proactively identify opportunities for improvement, strategizes solutions, and then oversee the course of action. I believe that product successes are derived from effective communication to stakeholders and customers, thereby inspiring engagement and global collaboration. The respect of team members is earned through demonstrating integrity and involvement: striving to provide the best quality work at all times, diversifying team skillsets by acquiring multidisciplinary knowledge, and regularly offering assistance to others to benefit the larger organizational goals.
My Experience
I have had the wonderful pleasure of building engineering, design, and product teams including a sizeable (30+) spatial computing / data science function that developed over 25 customer-facing platforms & applications that are still being used in production today. Most recently, I have been leading the hardware & software development of a brain-computer interface powered augmented reality headset that allows people with a wide variety of neuroabilities to communicate with others and to a variety of virutal assistance services. I am currently seeking opportunities to partner with innovative organizations who have an appetite to solve hard and complex problems!
